Brought home 2 pipes today IMG_20150703_140916 (Large).jpg :
- 740mm x 140mm and wall thickness 8mm
- 1950mm x 89mm and 4mm walls. Have cut this pipe into 2 pieces 500mm and 1450mm.
89mm that what I need to fix NSC 1,8m antenna's polar-mount IMG_20150703_140122 (Large).jpg . And vertical pipe from Prodelin dish has about 100mm diameter IMG_20150703_140208 (Large).jpg . So, I am going to make adapter from 100mm to 89mm by welding together (do not know yet how) 140mm pipe and 89mm pipe, like thisIMG_20150703_140109 (Large).jpg .
Not easy to explain, will better show some pictures when everything up and running.

I have this heavy duty 36-incher for a very long time but it was never used as it was always too big. It is also little bit too big for current setup. Will probably need to make new metal bar, number "1" on the picture. I also attached 2 pieces of wood to the polar-mount, and they are not only to hold the beer. Can somebody guess why those wooden parts attached there?

There are some new feedarms, LNB supports and holders, just need to be cut into right pieces and welded in the proper way. Material.... you know

Just removed polar-mounted NSC 1,8m. Was not really happy with it's performance. I have suspicion it was painted by previous owned using not correct paint. Another option- I spent too less time tuning it. Anyway, it will be parked for a while in the garage. Instead of it installed SMW-1400, only for a day or two. Will install on that pole some of 1,2m dishes (did not decide which one will go first).

No, it seems not. What was the purpose? To hold the mount to the mast?

O, sorry, forgot about question I asked
That was actually mechanical stop for antenna; it is better that mount touches wood (green circles) than antenna hits bolts (red circles). If I had 89mm pipe some 10cm longer than antenna would probably missed bolts. So, this was quick solution.

Was visiting my Father-in-law, he gave me 60mm pipe. It is very old, rusty and has some pieces of metal welded to it. So removed odd parts and old paint (dirty job) and already painted. Will install this pipe tomorrow in case I need to erect some antennas.

Installed "new" pipe in ground stand. Bolts are little bit too short, therefore some pieces of plywood are added in front of each bolt. Maybe, someday I will get longer bolts.... not today.

I have one Polar-mount (actually more than one, but this maybe has some chance to be installed) IMG_20150725_221108 (Custom).jpg . It had problem with one of the fixing nuts, so I've welded new nut IMG_20150725_221021 (Custom).jpg . But real problem with this PM is fact that it has not adjustable declination! Some ideas how to fix this are more than welcome. But other-ways this PM is strong and could easily handle 1,2m antenna. I also could be adjusted to handle different antennas, something like universal one. Till I find a best way what to do and how to di I hang PM on the wall. IMG_20150725_221606 (Custom).jpg

I adopted feedarm, SUB and feedhorn from Fibo 55 to 1,8m Prodelin. Could not get noticeable increase of performance, but had a great time tuning.

Today I attached SUB from Fibo 120. Got some positive results but still need to work on it.

Will make more picks tomorrow, too late now.
I think I stuck to one issue which can diminish any dish comparison efforts. Namely- signal level jumping all the times not only changes during the day but also within minutes! I have monitored 11919H frequency from 26*E (where all MBC channels are) and I see that signal level can change up to 3% in couple of minutes (maybe even more), it also changes on daily basys and, in addition weather can impact results as well. So, I do not know how to go forward.
Attached is measurements of that frequency fixed each minute during 5 hours.
Any thoughts about this issue?
Can not attach rar file, there is link

@samoloko I do not sure what exactly you wish to see. Are those pics give you enough info?
