Will make more picks tomorrow, too late now.
I think I stuck to one issue which can diminish any dish comparison efforts. Namely- signal level jumping all the times not only changes during the day but also within minutes! I have monitored 11919H frequency from 26*E (where all MBC channels are) and I see that signal level can change up to 3% in couple of minutes (maybe even more), it also changes on daily basys and, in addition weather can impact results as well. So, I do not know how to go forward.
Attached is measurements of that frequency fixed each minute during 5 hours.
Any thoughts about this issue?
Can not attach rar file, there is link
Summer months are not so great for a constant signal level: too much turbulence & thermal heating going on in the atmosphere.
I have a similar issue this summer to optimize a fixed dish here that points to 70.5°E.
Only can wait for al dull, grey day.

I've monitored signal from 11919H 26*E during last 24 hours (from 20:00 till 20:00), and picture looks like that. I suspect that not only signal from this transponder changes over day but also any other transponder has same tendency.

Season is over (for me): Removed Prodelin 1,8m and SMW-OA-1600, will park them till better times. Antenna stand is also removed.

Going back to brussels, then?
Can't you fit the other SMW1600 on the balcony without someone complaining?

I can, but have no need for that ATM. Someday in the future will probably install 2x SMW-1600 on the balcony to get all possible satellites. Ideally, will fit them with quad LNBs... maybe.

Gens! If you see such an antenna on advertisements and it is written "Gratis" (whatever that means ;) ), and location is not too far from you, and it is raining outside and you have no plans to execute, what would you do? I remember, I promised - no more dishes, but I could not hold my promise and picket it up. Just, please, do not tell my wife!
This is Prodelin .98 Ku-Band Rx/Tx series 1981 with offset angle 16,14* antenna system. And it was never installed.

What do yo mean "pick it up"?! I have already picked it up and showed you pictures taken in my garage! And, to be polite enough, I gave previous owner of this antenna 20 EUR, even if he did not asked for any money, very nice person BTW.
Edit: I see, you are not advising, you just stating the obvious! Means, you supporting me in my action! Thanks for that!

My last Echostar antenna has dimensions 978 x 978 mm and depth 65,1mm, so, even it looks like offset, but it is PF dish. Great!
I've seen some fully round shaped dishes still being a offset dish .
According the backside , I think it's a offset dish .
Not in this case- antenna's deepest point is 65,1mm and located at the very middle of antenna. Openings angle of this dish is about 60*. Most likely it is for data link not for SAT TV.
I was wrong and Wim right!
That dish is not PFA, but it is exactly the same dish I got couple of days ago. First one came without any metal parts, only the plastic mirror. Of course, I measured it but I did not check it's geometry, I mean- did not make string test! And that was fatal mistake! Dish, originally has not flat face! Means it is not PFA but offset. As my last Prodelin came with set of paperwork, I've read that dish has 16,14* offset angle and when I measured dimensions I got exactly the same numbers as Echostar had. So, 2 dishes with exactly the same dimensions can not be PFA and offset, that is obvious! And then I put dish face down to the floor and it started to swing on horizontal axis.

And now, the funniest part of the story: Some moths ago, thinking Echostar is PFA, made new feedarms and LNB holder and installed that dish and even cached some signals and also tuned it to the Clarke-belt on the polar mount. Was not impressed by performance, but, actually, it was not so bad as well. Of course, 16* offset angle it is almost PFA! That is funny!

Ahem... can I point to my post in your thread on polar mount stabilisation?

I have got those 3 motors some time ago, but only today they (and some other stuff) appeared in my garage. That means .... I have more restoration projects (perhaps once started and never ever finished ) coming up

Rimant, these look like pretty heavy duty motors - enough to drive a 1.8m Channel Master? What's happening to the 1224 motor that you were working on beefing up?

Nothing happened to it. It is still in my "to do" list, along with those 3 Ajak motors.

Thanks @Feedsat_DXer ! Pole for the motor is the last detail I should care about. More importantly I have to finish rest of the motor. Actually I've started a thread about my Jaeger, but it was not updated long time as I have nothing to update on
