With the winter upon us, I thought I would get my bird feeders topped up for the hard times ahead :).

I like this one, it's called the "Mysterious hidden water fall" it's very difficult to find the water fall, I have looked for hours and hours and hours without finding it.

Two nice sets of pics there :) -- been walking in the lake district myself, this past week. (Skiddaw and Lingmell/sca-fell) your pics suggest you were in the north or north west part of the lakes yourself --- regards - nelson.b.

Yes, Nelson: We stayed at Wythop Mill at the north end of Bassenthwaite Lake.

VS said you were going to do Skiddaw: The day we tried, visibility above about 2200 ft was nil all day, so we did Ullock Pike and Carlside then turned back. Couldn't see (literally!) the point of doing the final 1km walk and 800ft climb - plus at Carlside it was blowing a gale and drizzling.

Best day was up Whiteside, along the ridge to Grisedale Pike, then down to Coledale Hause to follow the Gill back down. Finished with an Ice Cream at Buttermere!

One of those pics shows Mellbreak (behind Crummock Water) which we climbed as a warm-up on our first day. Excellent walk and great views.

We did Scafell Pike a couple of years ago - went up via Mickledore Col, which was fun!

Hi all, I am so pleased how my garden is looking, I've done some hard graft here all by hand and looking forward to adding to what I have now :), I installed a security light today, and this is my garden by night :),

Feeder picture first sorry about the poor quality feeder picture I need a better camera when funds permit/ learn to use the one I have :), I have moved some feeders higher up :)
