I had noticed a different bird on the table. It turns out to be a young blue tit.Got a pic of it being fed by it's parent. You can just make out the parent in the arch.
Not a good one though.
Going to spend the day getting the focus of the camera better.

I did wonder. It did look as though it was being fed by the blue tit. Since then I have seen two of those plus two blue tits together.
Probably got it wrong though.Going to have a go at the focus now.

Spotted this roe deer this evening 20 meters from house, had to take the snap through the living room window as they are so skittish.

While out for a walk this evening I spotted this big bird sitting in the long grass.

I'm guessing this a rhea rather than an emu or ostrich? I probably could have worked it out more easily if I could have seen the body.

I was doing a bit of weeding at the top of the garden this morning, when this jumped out, i left a bit of the garden wild purposely for the wildlife and it looks like its working :).

^^^ I see some of these sometimes while driving, but they are very flat...
------------

At a forest nearby, these 3 were wandering around and staying quite close, very nice to see some real wildlife, for once not on tv! (wished I'd had a good camera there, only had an old nokia phone with me).

I'd say that's a juvenile Mistle Thrush.
