I did wonder what you fed the family on, spending all the money on a " summer house "

I've been glow worm hunting for a few nights this week as we've got a few good spots in south Bucks for glow worms. Tonight I found a group of about 20 females on a residential road side and under a street light too. Since they use their light to attract the flying (non-glowing) males you'd think they prefer to glow in the dark to stand out more but this colony don't seem to mind the yellow sodium lights.

Just walking round the garden and noticed my passion flowers have just started to produce flower heads, I will set my tripod up once they flower and see what I can do, I would like to get into taking macro pictures :)

Thanks for the comments\likes, makes it worth crawling around.

(one of) the nice thing(s) with SLR is the ability to produce nice blurred backgrounds. And don't have to cost a fortune, some unexpensive sh Canon (or Nikon) with stock lens is a good start, then over time one sees how far (how expensive :0) one wants to go.

Great pictures as always Paul, hope your keeping well pal :).
I am in all fairness Martin, unfortunately for the past 5 months i've been visiting a terminally ill relative in hospital, and you can imagine the effects this has on your normal life, but hey ho life goes on. I still get time to go out with the big zoom lens and get pics though. Cheers Paul.

Have done some research into this guy, not a tic or tick. Tick´s are arachnids with eight legs and a three stage body, this little chap is some sort of beetle, you can tell by the front legs and "one piece body ", not sure what kind though, working on it!
