Hi, i had this little fellow jumping around this tea time, it looks like my lawnmower blade needs a sharpening looking at how its gutting, a job before the next cut .

Thank you Rolf, i have a couple more just about to flower, lovely little flower with what i presume are the seeds dancing in the wind, i have to be careful ive pulled things up thinking there weeds in the past only to learn after i am pulling my hard work up ,

Hi Rolf, without popping outside I would say its around 60mm pal, I will measure it tomorrow .

Hi Rolf, its bigger than I thought. the flower head that's not open at an inch on the tape measure is from the same plant.

Hi, it turns out to be a yellow True lily and a tip for longer life, lets see what colour the others turn out to be, some other plants have started to flower, I cant wait for these to open up

Hi, I managed to get a few pictures of my resident dunnock yesterday morning, he/she was chasing fly's on the lawn, not very often I see them doing this, maybe some protein they need for the young/something similar ?, the last time they was doing this juvs was around,

The other day I was watering the lawn border when a juv popped out in front of me, he flew and landed on my shoulder then onto the bird bath then mum/dad came to the rescue and he flew to meet up.
