ive received my first frequency on ka band with this lnb !!

7e 21749 h 13483 muvi channels x12 68% signal

You should be able to receive these other channels in Band D on 7A .
Try 21565H 1571 7/8, 21571H 2441 2/3 TPA, and 21584H 1100 3/4 LC2 (this one can be difficult with this LNB )

... Out of interest, looking at Chris's plots, is that a typical gain difference of this new Ka /Ku Inverto from start of band to the end ? or is something else contributing. I'll check mine again but i'm sure it's a flatter response ... just curious.

I like scanning for frequencies thinking no I wont receive that the beam is no way close and hey presto the channel appears !!!

I am rx'ing about 50% of 16E KA channels...I am just on the edge of it....and all KA channels on 7E with a 1.5D
I just had a go at 25.5E (Es'hail1) and got KA-SAT-EVENT on 21421 V.

This freq changed it's FEC. Now its 2/3. Also Modulation is 8PSK.

21571h 2441 tpai 85%
21584H 1100 3/4 nothing at all but ive programmed it in just in case when the weather picks up !!

at the minute nothing coming through on 16e but its very windy here !!!

i will keep looking for more if anyone else has anymore frequencies to try ????

As Llew has already said LC2 can be tricky on some receivers ..
with the inverto lnb ..it will not lock on my F15 ..
However no such probs on the SX6 ..

Both receivers WILL lock LC2 with the XMW ..
So ..
I advise trying another receiver ..
What STB R U currently using btw ?

Sad to say ..you may not get a lock on this one ..with the Inverto ...but I doubt it being lack of signal ..
Most likely just incompatibility between lnb and receiver..
Keep trying tho' ..

ive got some other boxes that I could test and if nothing comes up on them I will take you up on the offer martin if that's ok !!
