Lads! Thanks for trying to help. I am kind of out of loop last days as have full house of guests and that prevents me to spend more time working on the hobby. They will fly away tomorrow, but then New Year celebration comes….. Right?! When I can I will try to connect another DiseqC motor and see how it works, not a big deal- only one coax from receiver to motor. Than will try to use Dreambox to operate installed DiseqC motor (however, in the beginning I was doing that but there were no big success as well).

That could be a problem, it would be easier to give priority to the big motor and then the moteck. Try this! Receiver > big motor > Moteck > Switcher > lnbs. Now Don't use the allocate function it completely ruins the stored positions! You have to reset the moteck now.

Rima uses a positioner for the "big motor" .
If you use diseqc 1.2 for 2 motors inline , there is nothing to do with priority , they both run at the same time and same command .
It works well with a non Enigma (E2) receiver , see posting #182 , also with a switch at the end for the lnb's .
Controlling and storing a diseqc motor with E2 software is different , in a positioner you can give the position numbers , thats what E2 need .
In a Diseqc motor you cant store a number to a position .

My suggestion is stated clearly, is purely for using a single Enigma2 receiver with two motors (this is why I asked beforehand), and my own experiences with diseqc motors and E2 receivers (I rarely use any other combinations) beg to differ! When using a manual rotor setting, signal is irrelevant and the positions are indeed stored in the diseqc motors (like moteck) by the receivers (the combinations of stored positions in manual mode could be different for each receiver of different manufacturers), unlike the vbox driven/converted motors! Otherwise no reset would ever be needed for these motor types! Priorities, commited and uncommited commands and port assignments in E2 are global for all diseqc commands and necessary to segregate any command assigned to each controller when more than a single one is present, whether they pertain one or more motors or switches!
If the dish and the lnb switcher are controlled differently things are definitely easier!

Plenty of free time these days so i made a new bigger wheel for the changer with the 340º DG120 rotor under the dish .
@ Feedsat , i think attaching a AV-COM polarwandler will be no problem .
To make things more visible , attached a lot of old lnb's to it .

@Trust1 Different LNBs have different distances (green lines) from LNB-holder till their Phase centers (red circles). How are you going to solve this issue?

Rima , its just a bunch of old lnb's , but believe me , its no problem .
If you should use the original feedarms , you have also to deal with the fixed position of the lnb clamp .
At my own changer with the TechniRotor , all lnb's are in the most optimal signal position .
The higher the frequency , the longer the focal ditance , the conicle C feedhorn is more close to the dish than the Ku feedhorns .
The Ka lnb has the longest focal distance .
If there is a "strange" designed lnb like the SL3K , a short metal plate with 2 holes (offset plate) can bring the lnb closer or further away from the dish .

Very nice. Quick question... How will the cables rotate? Looks like there might be a jungle of wires!

Cables from LNBs will be connected to DiseqC, and DiseqC will be physically fixed not too far from LNBS. So, there will be only one cable coming from DiseqC to the DiseqC motor.

For the octopus I need a longer rectangular alu pipe , thats makes it possible to use the original CM side arms .
Friday I will go on with it .

Boom ..... I'll have some of that!. Would like to get in the queue for two "Octopus" discs only please Trust. No drilling or tapping of lnb fixing rods required. Further details later when the time comes.
Good work.

I think it is possible to use Fibo motor to change LNBs. It is not so heavy but strong enough to turn changer.

I'm shure it can , but you need extra bearing and end switches .
Since i gonna use the 340º octopus at my CM , the 150º changer with the light Technirotor is available for anyone who likes it .
Its tested for some time and its doing very well , the weight at the top of the feedarm is no issue .
Its comming as in the picture with the wide box section feedarm and the adjustable sidearms , no lnb's .

A dutch member of sat4all pointed me to the next site , also a lnb changer at a Prodelin .
