:) Of course it depends what kind of FS is used. Perhaps there are some available which do not have any play in them.

For easy control of the lnb changer I use a Maxplus 2100 , made a favorit list with 6 channels .
Used only the signal from 19.2º and searched and stored one 19.2º TP at 6 different satellites .
Selected one channel from each satellite as favorit and renamed it .
As I mentioned it before , the KU lnb is stored at the "ZERO" position (named KU RAVEN )
All the others are stored after turning with diseq 1.2 at the selected satellite appurtenant to their lnb .

do you want me to send Santa a letter for you for a new motor :)
While waiting for Santa with a new motor, will make new axis instead of threaded bar will do 12mm pipe. That pipe will be hanging under the feedarm on 4 hinges made of another pipe with 12mm inner diameter. That is the plan

That big one (120mm wide) came without any box and seems it will not fit for changer as it can turn axis for very small amount of degrees. It came as present for me, means- no money wasted. The small one looks interesting, only 80mm wide and designed for antennas not bigger than 90cm, has metal gear and can turn 145*. I have a manual, will bring it later and maybe photocopy some pages from it to show you. I already drilled a hole in its shaft and made 8mm thread. will find out later how it is better to connect it to the pipe. If you think you need some of those, I can purchase and send to you. Cost less than 30EUR.

very very tidy Rima, looks the business.
Did you use any bushes for where the stainless rod passes through the supports as a matter of interest

Did not use any bushes. Just pipe in pipe. Removed bottom feedarm from the dish and connected everything together. Feel no play at all, except very little which comes from motor itself.

Finished hardware. Cellphone makes movies are too big, downloaded some software for conversion, but it made watermark. Have no tome to look for another conversion tool. I think it is pretty possible to install 2 x C-band and 2 x Ku-band LNBs on my changer.
Will also think how to get all the cables inside of feedarm.
Movie (hope download works)

Very nice, Rimant!

BTW, I usually upload my videos to YouTube - easier for viewing and you can embed them into this forum without worrying about conversions.

Nothing done outdoor last few days .
Took the time to develop a system for communication between the main sat receiver and the second (Maxplus 2100) receiver who controls the lnb changer .
Some time ago I noticed that a diseqc switch connected to the loop-through F-connector of my CT 5000 (F16) , was responding at the commands .
The signal from the switch was just powerfull enough to give pulses to the input channels of a OMRON plc .
Testing with he TM5402 gave the same result , actually with this receiver it could power a lnb and give picture .
My idea was to let the plc "push" the buttons of a Maxplus remote , therefore made a programm .
After opening of a spare remote and do some research I found 8 points needed to select button 1 to 6 .
Soldered 8 wires and lead them to 6 outputs of the plc , 7 wires (gnd and 6) from the 8/1 switch to the inputs of the plc .
In the TM5402 at the sat setup menu , I selected diseqc 1.1 and run through options 1 till 6 .
At the display of the Maxplus the corresponding numbers appeared , so mission completed .
A second switch at the lnb input of the TM , controls the connected lnb's , C - KU - KAKUA - SL3K lin - Sl3K circ and a spare .

Hi folks! Can you please tell me how could I program DiseqC motor. It sold work in 1.2 protocol (not USALS). So, for each satellite I wish to have unique memory index. For example Astra 4 should have #13, Uetelsat@7*E should have #15 and so on. But by now I am having lots of problems with those indexes. If I try to allocate numbers they stick randomly. So, I need some help.
I already programmed positioner to the same satellites and needed numbers, that was easy. Idea is to have chain: receiver-positioner-DiseqC motor-1/4 DiseqC-LNBs. As positioner and DiseqC motor will have same numbers for same satellites than this chain should work, basically, if I push button on the remote than receiver will control positioner and DiseqC motor simultaneously.

Maybe this way :
Disconnect the positioner and lead the coax cable directly to the diseqc motor , turn the correct lnb at focus by the motor menu , and store it at the corresponding sat position .
Probably neccesariy for each satellite .
Next problem , satellites with C , Ku and Ka signals , maybe store their position with 0.1º offset
When all sats are stored , put the positioner back in line .
