Receiving these channels on 1.35M dish here in Lanzarote.
If these are 2F Pan European beam then this means that there is beam shaping to cover the Canaries which we previously thought wasn't there!!
Although the official footprints show that there should be coverage we believed is wasn't there after 2F launch.

Ch5 is 10.964H - 2F Spotbeam. 8,5 dB SNR here - not stronger or weaker than it has been for weeks now. It was weaker in spring.

so does this mean that moving those tp's to 2F UK was only temporary? now they are all on a PE beam...
the sky epg is being remapped as we speak...a few minutes ago i had no signal on bt sport 1-2 sd, now its back on...same as ndtv 24/7...bt sport 1-2 hd still no signal, though...

Yes, the transfers on 30th where temporary so that the Eutelsat bands could be cleared ready for SES to start using them.

A few of the transponders were moved to the 2A North and South beams earlier this morning however now all of those are gone and appear to be on 2F. All TPs except the few left on Eutelsat no signal here in Estonia

however it is interesting, they used the Spotbeam for the interim illumination. Why not the PE beam ? Maybe 2F cannot use the PE beam on that band for so many TPs !?!?

SES seem to like to group the UK spots together, maybe it was just easier to keep them as UK spots for these few days and not complicate matters further.

The 2F footprint map shows 120 cm required for the Canaries (as opposed to 90 cm for 2E). We should soon know if 2F is receivable on a 90 cm here once reports start coming in. Unfortunately I do not have access to my 90cm installation at present as I only have the big Channel master at this house.

Can you confirm which signals you've lost from 2A please?

None "lost" but 12610 V and 12640 V were both on 2A beams for an hour or so.

Isn't 2F supposed to take over 2A traffic now anyway?

so you think 2A was cleared completely ? Here nothing changed between 11.7 - 12.5 GHz - same levels / SNR as yesterday.

No, just that they moved some of the TPs temp to 2A overnight then moved them over to their new home on 2F
