Hi friends ..
Installed and experimenting with Crazyscan and my very complex dish/switch setup this morning ....just to see If I can get them to switch and drive correctly..
Well ...it is possible but isn't supported the way I'd like it ..
I find it a bit odd that I have to first select diseqc 1.1 ...press the 'set diseqc ' button to first select the relevant switch position on my 8 way diseqc switch ..
Once established ...I then switch away from diseqc 1.1 to SG2100/GotoX ...and press 'set diseqc' button again ...
This then will drive the relevant motor on whichever diseqc 1.1 port I previously selected ...
I can then perform a scan.
Kudos to Crazyscans creator for at least making this possible ...wheras I don't have a dedicated viewer app in my armoury ...even capable of supporting diseqc 1.1 _and_ diseqc 1.3
Ideally there should be independant 'fields' ..or check boxes for diseqc switches ...and motor control ..so that these operations can be stacked ..
I'm sure I'm not the only person in the world who uses diseqc 1.3 and 1.2 motor control ....conected to the output ports of muliple swiches (diseqc 1.1 in my case)..
I'm liking the app very much ...
...and it is useable as is ..though a bit complex to use..
Viewer apps ...such as dvbviewer have dropped way behind imo ...and have plently of catching up to do.
One of the reasons I stopped using pci sat cards some while ago ..and went for set top boxes ..was due to exactly these sort of issues.
The creators of such apps seem to assume users only use either a single motorised dish ...OR ...a multidish diseqc switch setup..
Not both ...
And diseqc 1.1 support is even rarer.

VS
...needed to ammend this post ..to mention the big dish driving the 1.8pf ..
This one uses a vbox with preset positions ...diseqc 1.2 driven ...off port 2 of my diseqc 1.1 switch ..
I can't find any facillity on Crazyscan to deliver a preset diseqc 1.2 command ..so perhaps this is another thing that hopefully will get solved at some point..
Unless it does exist already ....and I just haven't found it yet
;)
Scrap that last comment !!
I think I just found it ..
First I select 1.1 swich to port 2
Then select 1.2 and swich/ drive to preset position ..
My hat off to you mr Crazy ....
Nice job ..
If only I could stack that operation ...so it would be performed with one button press ...
but Hey ..this is good stuff.
