No, it works indefinately, but if you want any new updates to the program after the year is up it costs $29. I let mine go three years until this year and now that I've re-upped I dont' see anything obvious I was missing. I'm sure there were some changes/enhancements, but it still seems to work the same in my world.Isn't it another $29 every year then to keep using it?
What is the big plus on the long trusted TransEdit?
I like TransEdit, its similar to TSREADER but I can't find any way to stream to it from CrazyScan, so I guess that is a minus. The reason I let my TSREADER license go un-updated is because I was using TransEdit and Dvbviewer almost exclusively, but now that I have CrazyScan->TSREADER->and VLC for viewing(does 4:2:2 as well) I've gotten away from TransEdit. If I could stream to it I would probably use it.
