What stand alone receivers can successfully tune these channels?
a list of tested receivers would be useful
Tested receivers:
Dr.hd f-15, f-16
Clarke tech hd 5000
Technomate 5402, 6800, 6900, 7100

Receivers with similar software to those above that can probably (unchecked yet) tune these channels:
clarke tech 3100 (similar to 5402) , 5100 (similar to TM 6900 ) , clarke tech 6600 (similar to TM7100)
Technomate 5302, 6910, 7110.

My Technomate 6900 won't pick it up (it just crashes if it gets a hint of the signal, tested various versions of firmware).

Only combo version manages with high SR on DVB-S2. Basic Clarke Tech HD5000 crashes when reaching high SR. So if anyone wants to consider this box, make sure you have chosen HD5000 C otherwise you'll be disappointed big time.

Hello everybody, This is my first post.
Thanks to this forum and others I have eventually managed to receive/decode most of the tv stations on this transponder (27.5W - 11.495GHz).
My question is, has anybody had any success in receiving any of the radio stations?

There seems to be eleven coded radio /audio channels (according to-http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-27.5W.php):
BBC R5L, - BBC Radio 7, - BBCWorld Sv, - BBC Radio 3
BBC R5SX, - BBC 1 Xtra, - BBCRadio 1 -, BBC Radio 4
BBC 6 Music, - BBC AsianNet, - BBC Radio 2,

and thirteenaudio channels in the 'CLEAR'
PSI In-bandconfigurations, - Radio N Gael, - 302
Fat CSI, - RadioUlster, - 301 HD
BBC Red Button,- RadioFoyle, - The Space
BBC Alba, - Radio Wales
Radio Scotland, - RadioCymru

When I do a 'blind' scan of the transponder I get all the radio stations to register on the STB but non of the audio channels are resolvable. - Anybody got any ideas.

Shouldn't be signals a powerhouse, more likely your box is not capable of the high Symbol Rate.

Which isn't even a DVB-S2 box right?

I've not read either of them boxes being able to do the high symbol rate either?

Try a dvbs2 card player and you will get all radio channels:

Reading this thread I have figured out that in many boxes the problem is that you cannot edit the PMT parameter.
There is a italian channel editor MediaBox Editor Studio that can edit PMT. Has anybody tried it?
I don't have a box that is supported neither can I receive 27,5W. Trees block everything for me west from 24,5W, maybe in the winter.
The italians have their own box brands, but there are some I know and there is generic ALi database in the export file.

I could not find where to download the editor from the italian web site (Help in the program), but here is link to an new american box that is supported. There is also aliEditor for it, but it does not support PMT editing. There is also an example american channel list. The editor has not been fully translated into english. If you try you have import the example file and format is micro hd (almost in the end of the list).

Here are pictures from the program with the exampe above. 1. Show channels menu , 2. Double click on one channel 3. File Export menu.

Yes, it's only about 9° above the horizon in Helsinki which makes it tricky to physically see and the signal fluctuates quite a bit on smaller dishes. I tried it through some trees last winter on a 1.8m dish with no luck. An 80cm with clear line of sight is just above the threshold in good weather most of the time.

Hi. Not read all this thread. But a simple question from someone missing bbc1. If I buy a Technomate 5402 for example get my dish pointed at 27,5 is it a simple process to get BBC. ITV etc back? Or am I missing something more complicated here?

Dish in the east corner of the balcony I can receive 66E-22W (with a smaller dish 66E-24.5W). When I move the dish west I can receive 90E 3.4° above the horizon. But there is not much not watch from 28.5E eastward, because of languages I don't speak.

Satesco, - I am interested in receiving some of these FTA radio channels. - When you say that I will get all the radio channels from 27.5W (with a dvbs2 card player) - do you include the ones that are FTA according to _http://no.kingofsat.net/sat-i907.php

Radio Scotland
Radio N Gael
Radio Ulster
Radio Foyle
Radio Wales
Radio Cymru

I can see on your attached thumbnail that three are listed -
Radio Cymru
Radio Foyle
Radio N Gael
but can you resolve the audio on the FTA radio channels (i.e. can you actually hear the program.)
When I scan the transponder I get all the FTA channels (radio and tv) listed, but the only channel I can resolve out of all the FTA channels is 301 HD ( tv-Olympic Red Button). I can not resolve any of the FTA radio channels.
