uk bbc channels normally on 28.2 on intelsat 907 27.5w ?

Technomate 5402 does not record with subtitles on the bbc channels from 27.5w position. It just takes sound and picture but there are no subtitles when I watch records. I tried recording with subtitles on and off and it failed anyway. What about f-15 in case of recording subtitles ? Obviously 5402 can record with subtitles on any other channel besides that all bbc from 27.5w.

Hi. Thanks for sharing. Just wondering which hard disk you're using. I've tried 2, formatted with fat32 from a PC, the box itself, also tried a USB stick. The HD channels are chopping. Sound ok. Basically unusable.

You should be able to open the channels on a patched Skybox Hixxy. I believe there's a menu to key in the BISS keys.

Interesting that you can get them working on a Dreambox, haven't found a way yet on my E2 DM8000.

I tried a .cw on the f3 with the latest firmware. It loaded them in ok when I check but still nothing. Will have to have a go doing manually when I plug it back in.

It doesn't work as you'll brick the box m8

I gave up with the Dreambox a while ago because of the encrypted PMT problem in E2. Not really worried as I have them on the DR HD F15 and vPlug in DVBDream. Haven't tried with mgcamd, might give it a go.

OK, thanks. I'm running Oscam in an openAAF image at present, and there's no server with this image available to d/l other EMUs, so I would have to add it manually. I'll leave it as it is running sweetly for the time being, as it's being used as the main receiver in the house.

2.what is the best box to use
3.what dish sizes are being used
4.anyone got it in the CANARIES (going to lose UK PSB very soon on 28e)

at this time the pirates have a 4.4m dish on 28e for BBC/ITV (in the clear) . if they lose this one option was to move to 27.5w and install boxes to pick up from their ???

Nearly all of these questions are answered earlier in this thread.

I also want to know the dish size for the Canaries. If you look at the footprint -http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/intel907_spot1.html you will see that its official limit is about 300km North of here (if that) and would be receivable with a 80cm dish there. Surely 1.2m would do it here in the Canary Islands ?!?

From what I have been able to determine from the various internet comments on this, the keys have only been changed once since the feeds ceased to FTA.

well good luck let me know how you get on .... i still cant get st8 answer to what box what codes etc ...
i can see the pirates using that satellite if that is the case ,but not sure about complexs,itsreally the time to go over to the internet or for people to just go it alone.6MB ADSL is only €20 a month now from telefonica and i can watch NBC/CBS live from the states alone with every series i can think of on demand free

I didn't have to change anything with regards to pmt.
Just using a pli based image with the latest catseye e2 channel list as he has already modified the channels. Then all I did was install mgcamd from the plugins menu and drop in my own constant.cw file. If you need one let me know and I'll upload it somewhere for you.

Hixxy1 when you say PLI based image witch one did you use? I have just flashed th latest BlackPole this is PLI based so I will give it a try if I can get the constant.cw right. Thanks for the info.
