I do not want to get on your nerves but I think you can open it with DM boxes because of Olimpic Games in London. BBC changed some parameters and channels like stream in hd 401 and therefore they turned off pid and pmt decryption so you can scan it and find channels.

It was openned in December and closed after three weeks and even if people have it scanned on their boxes they could not open the channels then because they activated pmt encryption again or even something more we do not know about. Pmt and pids were known, channels scanned on boxes like DM but in January chanells did not open.

We will se after Olimpic Games ends.

Boxes like dr.hd CT5000combo+ and TM5402+ ,6900+ are better if think of longer reception.

I am interested in receiving some of these FTA radio channels.
I can see on your attached thumbnail that three are listed -
Radio Cymru
Radio Foyle
Radio N Gael
but can you resolve the audio on the FTA radio channels (i.e. can you actually hear the program.)
When I scan the transponder I get all the FTA channels (radio and tv) listed, but the only channel I can resolve out of all the FTA channels is 301 HD ( tv-Olympic Red Button). I can not resolve any of the FTA radio channels.

As for the three radio stations, they were not broadcast anything at the time that I have memorized them.

My understanding is that it was originally FTA. It did not get "shut down" - they added BISS security and switched to a high SR.

although register on STB after a scan - do not actually transmit any audio information.

UTV HD has been added to the MUX but, as with S4C HD, it's not openable. Tried on the DR HD F15, but 'Test Key' in the BISS Menu yields no result. Same with DVB Dream/Vplug.

Hi. Got my technomate box all ready and had my satellite installer round today. He just couldn't find the bird. Anyone have any luck in Stockholm? Tried with a 60cm dish, 110cm, inverto lnb and his own one, nothing.

Could be the top of a very tall tree in the way but he moved around the garden with no luck. Had no probs seeing 30w and 24.5w. Any tips? He's coming back tomorrow to try again.

If you can see 30w and 24.5w then aim for the middle between them. There isn't much transmitted from 27.5W west so not much to look for if using a spectrum analyser other than the 2 regular transponders and the BBC one is an unusually high SR too so maybe not visible to some installation equipment?

None of the viewable channels on the MUX collect EPG data, at least not within the scope of the casual viewer of these channels (i.e. you and me).

Well pure supposition as I am unable to check myself but perhaps they are following the terrestrial lineup, where 301 is a red button channel for the BBC and shows F1 motor racing, concerts and children's programming 302 is a red button channel and 304 is currently channel4 HD paralympics channel

Depends on the receiver. Some of the linux boxes have epg plugins which go and fetch details from places like the Radio Times. If its a none hobby box forget it.
