Spotbeam was switched off, once TVP encrypted their channels back. It was for the moment, when the TVP's outgoing management board decided to offer sort of "free_view" service, however their successors have decided to cancel plans of their predecessors. The reason why the "free_view" project was withdrawn, was connected with the legal aspects of copyrights, as TVP did not believe that signal would not overspill to neighbouring countries. Obviously the true reason was that TVP did not have funds to continue project. I hope that clarifies :)

That transponder is now copied on 10964H 22000 SR 5/6 - looks like it'll move soon?

Yes! Whilst I was typing my last post, all the copies popped up on 1N (Still encrypted at the moment)

Something is actually happening!

Great stuff! I had an idea that this was in the pipeline and that 10964H was where the C5 TP was going to end up. Not had chance to check myself yet as my nephew's busy watching Cbeebies but when he's finished will do!!! Interestingly, TP57 (10964H) was C5's segment on 2C when it was briefly at 28.2E so it's in effect moving back to this location.

SNR 97%
AGC 97%

Edit - corrected frequency

No worries mate, it's an easy mistake to make as there's only two other active TP's at the mo!

I would put my bets on that 11053H will become one of ITV's TP's for more ITV1HD regions although it's still DVB-S modulated at the moment so we'll have to wait and see.

Oh yes, it's going home! Although back on Astra 2C we had a nice strong signal all the way to Lapland on a 60cm dish, now it's goodbye to Channel 5 in Finland via satellite.

Yep, 1N's spotbeam so you've got a good test benchmark on your Sky STB to go with now.8PSK will most likely have different quality levels at your location but guess if you can get DVB-S QPSK 22000 5/6 then you'll be ok with DVB-S2 22000 8PSK 2/3.

If this is 1N when will they turn off the other signal? Or will they run concurrently?
