Channel 5+1 getting ready to jump to 1N ???

Shrubsole said:Yes! Whilst I was typing my last post, all the copies popped up on 1N (Still encrypted at the moment)
Something is actually happening!
Analoguesat said:Confirmed the C5 tp is duplicated on 11052H, plus the extra 7720 label
SNR 97%
AGC 97%
Analoguesat said:Oh sod - its 10964. Sorry - wasnt thinking when I posted!
I'll change the original post
Oh yes, it's going home! Although back on Astra 2C we had a nice strong signal all the way to Lapland on a 60cm dish, now it's goodbye to Channel 5 in Finland via satellite.M60 said:Great stuff! I had an idea that this was in the pipeline and that 10964H was where the C5 TP was going to end up. Not had chance to check myself yet as my nephew's busy watching Cbeebies but when he's finished will do!!! Interestingly, TP57 (10964H) was C5's segment on 2C when it was briefly at 28.2E so it's in effect moving back to this location.

M60 said:Yep, 1N's spotbeam so you've got a good test benchmark on your Sky STB to go with now.8PSK will most likely have different quality levels at your location but guess if you can get DVB-S QPSK 22000 5/6 then you'll be ok with DVB-S2 22000 8PSK 2/3.

Eventually like a few years or eventually like a few weeks?Analoguesat said:It'll be turned off eventually.
