I hope you paid only what it is worth - about 50 pence. O-no

I think you may be being generous - I was given the almost new Kaon four years ago for absolutely zilch. So if it's now worth 50p, that a great result :p

You may scoff, but it has a very sensitive tuner, so I have to talk nicely to it.

Absolutely lethal out there from 2pm onwards.
Plenty of novices on the roads just after dark.

Drive carefully, if you absolutely have to go out,

Still snowing here, just been to Coppull for a meal with work and there were a good 5 inches of snow, motorway was about to be snow ploughed. A lot less the further North we came on the M6 but still snowing here and getting deeper by the hour.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

It's snowed here with about 2 inches laying, I foresee more collapsing infrastructure in the near future.... :-rofl2

About an inch of snow fell last night and it looks as though there's some more in the clouds above. The wind has picked up and I'm not looking forward to taking the dogs out in a few minutes. Temperature just hovering above freezing.

Looks like it's going to remain a tad on the chilly side for a good few days yet.

Frozen 3 inches, -5°C, it's going to make installations very difficult indeed.

Frozen 3 inches .............

That's one I care not to comment upon

On Topic, I had a minor job to do reverse Ports on a DiSEqC switch for SWMBO yesterday pm (To wire 28.2E to Port A in order to keep her Sky Box happy when she uses that instead of her Kaon) and my pinkies were almost blue after just the few minutes that minor task took.

Well really coming down here, not so sure that I'll go out today, got three jobs to do, but the snow is now coming down quite heavily.

Match is on strangely enough, yet Wigan is off, but the underground heating has presumably helped or perhaps it is the heat generated from all the tongue lashing of the new owners that has been taking place.....This has to be a good chance for the Hammers to get some points this season as the Rovers sounded demotivated and demoralized on the radio

Sounds very similar to down here in Reading Dave, just hope we don't get too much more, as I've had to put off three jobs today and would like to try and fit them in tomorrow and Monday.

To all my southern chums - I feel your pain. The temperature is well below zero here but its nice and sunny and we are off out in a few minutes :D

Currently watching the BBC News 24 pictures of a snowbound Heathrow in disbelief.

Well they'd closed Heathrow before it had any snow. Strange.
