ran the web page through babelfish ...and it came up with this :-

note the word 'heavy' ...so I guess it may well be ..
question is ..do they ship to the uk ..?..and how much would such a heavy item cost ?

Model: heavy
Stroke length: 36 " (91,5cm)
Speed: 5,2mm/sec
Resolution (Reed): 32 pulses/inches
Input VOL days 36 VDC

interesting though ..
I'm looking into it..

I think this is right 36" heavy duty actuator. If you push button under price zzgl. Versandkosten! than shipping options will appear, chose UK and there will come different shipping options with all the prices. BTW this actuator from one end to another goes in more than 2 minutes.

Yes they do and I think it would cost you about €17.50 for carriage. I've had lots of stuff from HM Sat (including my 1M Gibi) and have never been dissapointed with their service.

Get the restraints out again, friends.

So assuming they accept payment by paypal ...and vat is included already in the price ...36 euro plus say ..18 euro...
I make that about £45 ..
Not at all bad if it is indeed the heavy duty version ..
Anyone bought this actuator and confirm its the heavy duty design.. and reliability ?
I'm very tempted..

It will only cover the same 'arc' with Christina ...but should not have to work fully extended at the Eastern end ..and weather the storm loading much better..

Yes, it's blowing quite hard here (about a three quarter hooley) though going by the weather map it's at it's strongest in the Western Channel. (I pity those on an overnight Cherbourg - Portsmouth ferry). I've turned the Laminas to 4°W as it seems to be a due Westerly and I'm favouring a side on attitude.

Wow!

It's getting worryingly strong here right now - there is a lot of howling going on and I be afraid of it.

And VS is distracted by concerns over the size of his, errm, "actuator". Matron!

The lights have flickered a couple of times here, and it's pretty darned windy, got a torch in my pocket (or am I just happy? Nah, it's definitely a torch!!), just in case, but that said I know the lights won't get blown out, cos they never do these days, I like powercuts.... :D

The wind has suddenly picked up here too. I went outside to get some coal about half an hour ago and it was really wild out there.

..Indeed the wind is picking up once again here too ..
Time to stop dxing for the night and park her up ...
was a 'ahem' mild 40 -50mph earlier...but gusting well in excess of that now ..
Me and my dishes have suffered enough ...Christina has proved to be a tough old girl ...but I'm now worried about Tom and Dick again .
Doh
:(

well risked it earlier to watch the footy on 13e and was a bad move as I now know what no satellite signal being received is in Italian.

gone back to 1west, 28east unaffected due to being a mesh dish.
