Its worth mentioning the fantastic reliability of the cars atm.

22 of the 23 cars that started finished. (Paul de Restas Force India ground to a halt mid race & poor Timo Glock never even got to the start line after his Virgin's gearbox failed on the installation lap.

3 weeks ago in China 23 of the 24 cars got to the finish.

Yes, but don't forget who else is on the front row with you (saving his tires)

BTW, why did EJ have a briefcase tucked under his arm when they did their first 'talking heads' bit? It just made him look like a dodgy double glazing salesman........though thinking about it, he always looks like that....

Probably a spare shirt for when the armpit stains get too prominent.

I've seen it .......... and thanks.

But Q Points are only about 20% of what seems to be on offer for the weekend, so I'm hoping my man can pedal just as fast tomorrow.

Ominously, the young tyro got second without his KERS functional (again).

Indeed well done Gordon it looks like you have this all boxed off, its time we had a safety car this season and a few drivers polaxing their competitors.

Thanks, chaps - but I am slightly discomfited sitting exposed oop front as I still don't have much idea of strategy and have relied upon common sense (hopefully!) and luck.

A couple of Races ago, I made a cock of my changes and inadvertently ended up with 5 penalty points .......... but still got a decent overall score.

Now Experts like you, Topper, had you done that, we'd all have applauded your brilliant strategy. For me, it was inadvertently making the best out of a bad job!

So please, somebody, knock me off my perch and let me regain a state of relative anonymity .........

Very entertaining - though perhaps a tiny bit below the level we've had up to now. Impressive drives by Vettel and Hamilton. Heidfield drove well too, although he did benefit from all new tyres. One question though, was a reason given for 'Little and Large' doing the grid walkabout instead of MB? (I was releasing fox repellent outside and might have missed why there was a change)

I had one eye on the entire build-up yet failed to hear the reason why the estimable MB was off-duty.

On a far more serious note, some of us may be doomed (doomed, I tell ye) if Maverick doesn't stick to his normal routine of awarding Points despite any later intervention by the Stewards. Both McLarens and Webber may not have eased off the gas under Yellows for Kovaleinen's demise.
