maybe the sky box hasn's remapped the channels?

when i do the "add channels" , i get "no channels found" on these frequencies:
10.979GHz/V
11.082GHz/H
11.112GHz/H
11.141GHz/H
11.171GHz/H

and on these, i get a very strong reception (over 90%)
11.954GHz/H
12.129GHz/V
11.973GHz/V
12.402GHz/V
12.441GHz/V
12.422GHz/H
11.585GHz/H

i cant tell which freq i'm receiving, but bt sport 1-2 hd and espn hd are very strong here, 90% quality, it can't be 1N spot beam

Also receiving these channels on Tp+ 11585H 86/92 central southern norway.

Could not fathom out from this thread if these Tps are swapped or simultaneous broadcasted from satellites concerned

for example, on TCM SD, channel 341 (which is now on 10921H) my reception is 50%, so this had to be remapped to the new location

11585H is the existing Eutelsat 28A frequency. It's temporarily moving to 11.156GHz/V 23000 8/9 DVB-S2 QPSK

Probably not today - get the new muxes set up & stable in advance, then there is plenty of times to remap the frequencies before final shutdown of Eut 28A releases Thursday / Friday night.

Sky will probably start the remaps tomorrow, and do say half tomorrow & half Wednesday.

Well, now with Tothbros' revised reception report I'd say all transponders in band C are 2F... as shown in my scan. Anyone further east in Europe able to confirm.

I think so, I assume most (if not all) will be shifted back to the old Eutelsat frequency bands after 4th when Eutelsat switch off their transponders. These should then be on 2F.

I've got a sneaky feeling they're going to be bitter about having to give up spectrum and leave their Tpx on while they go through any more appeals.

Reading the statement they posted that said they won't cause any intentional harmful interference, I think they're going to leave the bird lit up and claim its not intentionally harmful because as far as they see it they're entitled to TX from that location.

I don't know why but I've thought that since reading that statement, that said though, it's probably something I'd do if I was in their shoes I.E. not give up without a blazing fight

These are all on the highly focused 2F Spotbeam ! In Hungary you probably cannot get it.

astra2freq.jpg yes I get a lock, but they are very weak - same strength as the other existing 2F Spot Transponders. Like the Channel5 TP 10.994 for example.
Everything between 10.95 and 11.2 is now 2F Spot, except those two data transponders in APSK16 modulation.

Thanks. What you are saying is confirmed by my scan here.

It's hard to tell from the UK but those new transponders in the 10.95-11.20 range are maybe 2-3% higher than the 1N spots below 10.95 and more comparable with the existing BBC/C5/C4 HD 2F spots which would suggest they are on 2F.

bt sport 1-2 hd, espn hd - thats gonna be a big blow for sports fans in the fringes. does this indicate that sky is not bothered by moving their channels on the spot beam?

We need to wait until Friday (4th) before we know what the longer term plans are.
