Maybe later, need to tweak up the 26E lnb first - the zip tie must have slipped & the Saudi Sports stuff has disappeared! :D

Ahh - nice BBQ. Pleasant temperatures, a couple of beers. The thread is now accurately titled. :-rofl2

The grey cloud that spilt in from the North Sea yesterday down from the Wash never cleared yesterday, twas a very cold barbecue here . And today we have a stiff breeze and full grey cloud cover so i'm not expecting miracles. The local East Mids weather girl said yesterday at lunch she was still confident the cloud would burn back to the East coast but i think its more to do with The Meterological Service trying to put a positive spin on things...(or maybe the BBC to be more accurate)

Lovely bright, warm and frsher day yesterday - really comfortable and pleasant - but there is low cloud at the moment, just lifting. Looks as if it'll end up similar to yesterday.

Cloudy here, but it is very warm, so I'll probably pop out to one of the National Trust gardens nearby , if I can find some old vegetable oil in the shed

Most of the cloud has burned back now so we are getting some sunny intervals :)

Finally the 26E lnb has been fitted properly - no more zip ties for that one :-rofl2

Yesterday I noticed the roofing felt on OH's allotment shed has split so I'll be starting to do some repairs this afternoon.

I can confirm it works better on 'tanning' than lounging in the sun, however it does attract all sorts of insects.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Ah the doomsayers are on the go again eh?

It's warm, mostly sunny and rather nice outside today, rain is a good thing though as it makes things grow (at least, things that aren't on ancient flood plains that have in recent years started flooding again), so get the waterbutts installed and get growing your fruit & veg... :D

Today is the longest day - the solstice is about half eleven tonight.

And its been an absolutely glorious day up here, blue skies, sun shining. And of course when I get home from my very stuffy office and want a pint in the sun its bloody clouded over!
